Cambodia’s foreign minister to visit Singapore to mark 60 years of diplomatic ties
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Nov.10, 2025) — Cambodia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn will pay an official visit to Singapore from Nov. 12 to 13 at the invitation of Singaporean Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan, the Cambodian Foreign Ministry announced Monday.
During the visit, Prak Sokhonn is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Prime Minister and Finance Minister Lawrence Wong and hold bilateral talks with Balakrishnan to explore ways to strengthen ties and expand cooperation across multiple sectors.
According to the ministry, discussions will focus on enhancing friendship, economic partnership, and regional collaboration between the two Southeast Asian nations.
The visit also commemorates the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Cambodia and Singapore, which both governments describe as “deep and enduring cordial ties and mutually beneficial cooperation.”
Officials said the trip reflects the two countries’ shared commitment to promoting peace, stability, and prosperity in the region, and to advancing a partnership rooted in ASEAN unity and collaboration.
