Cambodia Promotes Visa Exemption for Chinese Nationals Through Street Art Performance
SIEM REAP, Mar. 17, 2026 (KPT) — Cambodia will stage the Cambodia–China International Street Art Performance this month to promote the visa exemption for Chinese nationals, the Ministry of Tourism said Tuesday.
The event will run from March 21 to 22 at Siem Reap’s Pub Street, in collaboration with the provincial administration, the Chinese Embassy, ministries, institutions, private sector and Chinese partners.

Officials said the program will feature joint performances by Cambodian and Chinese artists, along with a parade, highlighting cultural exchange and friendship.
The initiative forms part of the Cambodia–China Tourism Year campaign and aims to publicize the visa exemption scheme, which allows Chinese nationals to stay in Cambodia for 14 days between June 15 and October 15, 2026. Authorities expect the measure to boost arrivals from China, one of Cambodia’s largest tourism markets.
The Ministry of Tourism has invited associations, tour operators, private sector representatives, media and the public to attend and promote the performances. Admission will be free, with organizers hoping the event will showcase Cambodia’s hospitality and strengthen tourism ties with China.
